Phoenix, AZ (June 14, 2017) - Championship Wrestling from Arizona (CWFAZ), the states only professional wrestling TV broadcast, is moving to a new home television station in the Phoenix television market. Starting at 1am on July 2nd (Saturday night into Sunday morning), Championship Wrestling from Arizona will air on Arizona’s own AZTV 7 (KAZT-TV). This move will make the CWFAZ television program available to the entire Phoenix television market, no matter who your service provider is.

“Securing a home on a local television station in Phoenix is a huge step forward for Championship Wrestling from Arizona,” Said Ricky Vazquez, CWFAZ Executive Producer. “This new partnership with AZTV 7 will deliver Championship Wrestling from Arizona to every television household in the Phoenix market. This includes much of norther Arizona. Increasing our reach in the state to over two million households.  This is truly a huge step in our goal to make Championship Wrestling from Arizona available to every person who watches television in the state.”

Championship Wrestling from Arizona debuted in Tucson on September 11, 2016 airing weekly at 10am Sundays on My18 (KTTU-TV). In the first six months television ratings for the 10am time slot on KTTU increased from a 0.0 to a 1.8, making CWFAZ the fastest growing locally produced program in the Tucson DMA. In April CWFAZ moved to Cox 7 Arizona, a regional cable channel, increasing it’s reach to both the Phoenix and Tucson viewing areas.
